Scope

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Physically examine the property regularly.
• Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring proper care of the property.
• Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve the community's quality, ensuring public areas are clean and safe.
• Supervise outside contractors working on the property.
• Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives, including property inspections, maintenance assignments, utility readings, landscaping, safety, and special maintenance tasks.
• Prepare inventory homes for sale or rent.
• Troubleshoot property needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in building trades, plumbing, repair, or handyman work.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to use email.
• Valid driver's license with a 3-year good driving history.

Compensation and Location

Starting at $17.00 - $18.00/hour, based on experience, plus up to 5% quarterly bonus and housing discount.
