Qualifications

2nd shift. Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-11pm

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all site-wide equipment to maintain a quality environment in GMP and non-GMP facilities at the Swiftwater site.

This position reports to and supports the Maintenance Manager or Deputy Director who is ultimately responsible for the efficient, effective, and reliable operation of all equipment in their area.

The Maintenance Technician will interact with all levels of the organization including HSE, Industrial Operations, Engineering, contractors, R&D, Mtech, and other support groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine root cause, repair/replace site-wide equipment
  • Perform preventive/predictive maintenance including daily checks, PMs of GMP and non-GMP equipment
  • Assist and support other maintenance technicians in preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Complete work orders and log time into the SAP system
  • Complete training modules, SOPs, SWIs, safety, and compliance requirements in the ISO train system
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Train and mentor Associate Maintenance Technicians
  • Support GMP and non-GMP areas at the Swiftwater site as part of a maintenance team

The ability to multitask, troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair site-wide equipment is critical. The role involves working on intricate, site-specific systems including GMP and non-GMP equipment.

This position requires up to 25% overtime with short notice, working various shifts depending on business needs and production cycles.

About You
Requirements

Education/Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience with industrial and/or process equipment

  • Preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as:
  • Air Handling Units, Belts, Bearings, VFDs, VAVs, Steam systems, JCI Metasys, Electronics, PLCs, Chart Recorders, Clean rooms, Pumps, Motors, Blueprints, Electrical systems, Refrigeration, Boilers, Piping, SAP
Certifications

Associate degree in a trade program preferred; High School Diploma required
