Marketing Manager at Crowne Plaza Fredericton - Lord Beaverbrook Hotel

We are seeking a talented and dependable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Responsibilities include conducting quality assessments, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

• Perform daily pool maintenance, chemical testing, adjusting chemical controllers, filling chemical tanks, and reporting inventory.
• Replace parking gate arms, install new tickets, extract jammed cards, and reset stations.
• During flood season, set up flood gates, sandbags, and pumps. Participate in a 24/7 flood watch rotation during the flood period.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and daily walk-throughs of the hotel.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
• Repair faulty equipment and damaged structures.
• Manage heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform periodic quality checks on equipment and systems.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Pay: $20.45 per hour
• Expected hours: Up to 44 hours per week
