Job Description

At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for a Small Ag/Bobcat/Turf Service Technicianto join our fast-paced, energetic dealership inSwift Current, SK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize state of the art ag technology and be part of the future of agriculture. A great place to start your career as an Equipment Technician is in the Small Ag/Bobcat/Turf department. You will get the opportunity to diagnose, repair and maintain small tractors, Bobcat, small-powered equipment, and tow-behind equipment, getting familiar with the systems and tools used in the shop. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection,diagnosis, repair, and service of equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
  • Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance based on manufacturer schedule/standards
  • Maintain current knowledge of Bobcat, Turf, and John Deere agriculture products
  • Participate in John Deere University, and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

Requirements

  • Mechanical skills, and have performed basic maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment
  • Have demonstrated a willingness to learn and succeed
  • Have taken some formal training in mechanics and/or farming experience
  • Familiar with engines, hydraulics, power-trains, air-conditioning
  • Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
  • Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field would be a definite asset
