We are looking for an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance. If you have experience troubleshooting along with a passion for ensuring everything runs smoothly, you might be the perfect fit for our team!

To excel in this role, you should be:

• Minimum of two to three years of previous experience considered an asset
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Clean Driver's abstract required
• Able to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenance
• Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Exceptional skills in communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management
• Knowledge of plumbing and carpentry/construction considered assets
• Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
• Physically fit, able to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods and lift in excess of 25 kilograms
• Strong customer care and communication skills

What will your role involve?

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as millwork (countertops), minor plumbing, door repairs/installation, window installation, interior painting, drywall repairs, and similar duties.
• Use various power tools, perform painting, drywall repairs (asset)
• Assist with building operations functions as required
• Perform rough and finished carpentry work in the repair and construction of building components
• Install trim, doors, molding, and hardware
• Repair and refinish furniture
• Perform finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
• Operate a variety of standard power tools and equipment
• Respond immediately to emergencies and service requests related to clients and building issues
• Assist with landscaping responsibilities
