Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance. If you have troubleshooting experience and a passion for smooth operations, you might be the perfect fit!

Qualifications

• Minimum of two or three years’ previous experience (considered an asset)
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Clean Driver's abstract
• Ability to use basic power tools and perform basic building maintenance
• Basic command of English (written and verbal)
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Plumbing knowledge (asset)
• Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure
• Physically fit to stand, crouch, kneel for long periods, and lift over 25 kg
• Carpentry/construction skills (asset)
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Role Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:

• Performing general maintenance such as millwork, minor plumbing, door and window repairs, interior painting, drywall repairs, etc.
• Using various power tools, painting, drywall repairs (asset)
• Assisting with building operations
• Performing rough and finished carpentry for repairs and construction
• Fitting and installing trim, doors, moulding, and hardware
• Repairing and refinishing furniture
• Performing finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
• Operating standard power tools and equipment
• Responding promptly to emergencies and service requests
• Assisting with landscaping as needed
