Job description

Maintenance Technician

Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the safe operation and maintenance of the facility's high-pressure steam system.
2. Complete and maintain all steam system and utility documentation required for regulatory compliance.
3. Monitor and maintain all facility utility services, including HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and future refrigeration systems.
4. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program software for process and utility equipment.
5. Perform or facilitate preventative maintenance of all process and utility equipment.
6. Lead troubleshooting and repair of equipment to maximize operational efficiency.
7. Manage inventory of critical spare parts on site.
8. Conduct general upkeep procedures and perform other assigned tasks.
9. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
10. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
11. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
12. Perform manual repairs as needed (e.g., fixing locks).
