The opportunity: The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintenance and repair duties within assigned buildings. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role ensures buildings are maintained in a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible manner, optimizing operational efficiency and reporting regularly to the OM.
What You Will Do
Who You Are
Education: BOMA Facilities Management training or related courses are assets. Lift training is an asset.
Experience: 3+ years in building operations or property management; construction experience is a plus.
Skills & Traits: Effective communication, professionalism, self-motivation, organization, initiative, and integrity. Ability to handle stress, work in various environments, and respond to emergencies.
Leadership & Decision-Making: Ability to lead, provide direction, and resolve problems logically and strategically.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with iPhones, emailing, and basic office software.
Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, lift, kneel, and walk long distances.
Police Clearance: Criminal verification check required.
