Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Ancaster, Ontario is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Technician – Electrician. This role involves the programming, installation, and maintenance of production and test equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician and have at least 3 years of experience in CNC machining and automated assembly maintenance. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining and automated assembly maintenance.
  • Hands-on skills in electrical assembly, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with PLCs, Fanuc robots, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair facilities and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on CNC and automated assembly equipment.
  • Support planned maintenance activities and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on CNC and automated assembly equipment.
  • Organize and maintain the maintenance department for efficiency and safety.
  • Support planned maintenance activities and emergency repairs.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operational quality targets.
