Sunrise Soya Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the troubleshooting process and to execute effective preventative maintenance programs. The successful candidate is going to maintain the inventory, work order system, and work schedule for the maintenance team. By working closely with other departments, the successful candidate will be working on developing the training program and maintaining the health and safety program. The Qualifications & Experience we need are:

• College Diploma or Post-Secondary Vocational / Technical School Diploma or Applied Science Technologist Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance in a factory environment, including supervision
• Electrician, Boiler Operator, and/or Millwright Certificates
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills built on a team-focused approach
• Good verbal and written English language skills
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work with a high degree of discretion and tact in handling confidential matters
• Ability to supervise, lead and motivate a team to achieve and exceed their goals
• Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress of all direct reports
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities
• Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
• Willingness and ability to collaborate with other departments in achieving company goals
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, maintains a position frame of mind and sets an example of professionalism for other employees

Work Conditions

• Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• Work is performed 20% in office environment and 80% in production facility
• Exposure to noise and a wet temperature varied environment when in the production area
• Interaction with employees, management, and the public at large
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs
• After hours availability on emergency calls
• Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
