Overview: As the Creative Services Manager at Duer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our creative processes and enhancing the effectiveness of our team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will collaborate closely with all channel holders and the Creative team to produce engaging and cohesive branding, marketing materials, product packaging, and retail space designs. You will help our growing team thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a keen understanding of the design process and a founder's mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of all product lines and cycles.
- Work with marketing leadership to adhere to the go-to-market calendar.
- Assess existing workflows and identify and implement efficiencies in creative processes.
- Collaborate with channel holders and stakeholders to enhance briefing systems and develop improved briefs for projects, setting key dates and managing expectations on deliverables.
- Funnel project requests and allocate work to team members based on skills, availability, and project needs.
- Assign work and manage a variety of projects, including product packaging, advertising, wholesale catalogs, email campaigns, and retail environments.
- Ensure quality and consistency in all creative outputs.
- Utilize project management tools, preferably Asana, for tracking, ensuring clear timelines and accountability.
- Encourage a collaborative environment where creativity flourishes while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Act as a point of contact for team members, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Help identify team strengths and areas for development, facilitating training and growth opportunities.
- Work with the Creative Director to set team ROCKS that align with business goals.
- Manage department budget, ensuring projects stay within scope and allocating funds for contractors and special projects.
- Mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in creative project management or a similar managerial role within the apparel or adjacent industries.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and project management.
- Proficient in project management tools, preferably Asana.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with both creative teams and business stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on team success and individual development.
- A passion for apparel, design, and innovative marketing strategies.

Job Details
- Type: Full-time
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
- Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid remote)
