Job summary

Irving Equipment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join our dynamic team and coordinate maintenance activities across our fleet of cranes and equipment. Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering or maintenance management).
• Experience in mechanical work planning; unionized environment is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making in critical situations.
• Willingness to assume supervisory duties when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Project/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Oracle/E1 experience is an asset.
• Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Verify resource requirements and availability for planned maintenance work.
• Generate and review schedules with the Maintenance Team, incorporating operational concerns.
• Release daily work orders to maintenance leads and trades, ensuring resource allocation.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and components for scheduled work.
• Interact with the Maintenance Team to ensure schedule adherence and necessary modifications.
• Engage with 3rd party vendors for maintenance support and collaboration.
• Review completed work orders for data recording and analysis, identifying areas for improvement.
• Track and report on KPIs to monitor maintenance performance.
• Be available for on-call operational work based on a predetermined schedule.Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
