Job summary

Irving Equipment Ltd. in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Director of Operations to lead safety, productivity, and profitability across our crane rental, heavy lifting, and transportation services.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who can energize teams, drive P&L outcomes, and develop the next generation of leaders while evolving toward general management. You will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-time service and uphold our ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; professional designation required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years leading operations or managing large projects with P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record of improving processes to drive practical business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to manage finances, deadlines, and priorities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and developing the next generation of leaders.
