Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation seeks a Manager, Maintenance and Reliability to lead maintenance activities at the Burnaby and Westridge terminals. You will drive disciplined maintenance processes, improve field efficiency, and build preventative plans to sustain asset availability.

The role collaborates with the Manager, Terminal Operations and reports to the Director, Burnaby and Westridge Terminal Operations. A strong background in reliability and KPI-driven improvements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering or related trade certification with maintenance planning and reliability improvement experience.
• P.Eng. designation and/or management certification is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of maintenance planning, reliability, and asset management experience in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and leadership for maintenance work and process optimization.
• Implement reliability tools and long-term improvement plans for high productivity safely.
• Develop and track maintenance KPIs and initiatives for a high reliability organization.
• Budget and forecast maintenance and capital budgets for the programs.
• Provide coaching and support to maintenance supervision and teams to build a high reliability culture.
• Investigate reliability-related incidents to determine root causes and actions for improvement.
• Advise on subject matter expertise to the broader operations team.
• Maintain ISLMS documentation including goals, objectives, and plans.
