Job summary

BC Ferries is seeking a Regional Manager, Terminal Maintenance to lead maintenance, reliability, and performance of terminal assets across a dynamic coastal environment. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and contractor relations to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires engineering leadership, a strong safety mindset, and experience in maintaining marine structures, buildings, and utilities within a unionized setting. A PMP or related certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Progressive maintenance or project management experience in industrial/marine environments.
• Leadership role in a unionized workplace with vendor and contractor oversight.
• Experience overseeing maintenance programs, budgets, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of planners, supervisors, trades professionals, and staff.
• Develop and execute preventative, predictive, and reliability-centred maintenance programs.
• Manage operating and capital maintenance budgets with forecasting and cost control.
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management across terminal assets.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure certifications are maintained.
