Job summary

Harsco Environmental is seeking an organized procurement and administration specialist to support plant operations. You will place orders, manage purchases, coordinate workflows, and track inventory and fuel/oil usage with accuracy.

Responsibilities include opening POs, organizing department forms, generating reports, and ensuring timely payment and compliance. The role emphasizes safety and data accuracy in a steel/mill setting.

Qualifications

• A strong organized communicator capable of multitasking in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Detail-oriented with logs, forms, and multiple internal/external customer records.
• Proficient with Oracle, Kronos, Uniwin, and MS Office for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Procurement management using IProcurement and Oracle systems.
• Coordinate workflow emails to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Manage materials pickup, inventory tagging, and future inventory readiness.
• Open monthly purchase orders accurately and timely; organize printer forms by department.
• Generate Open PO reports and monitor order status twice weekly.
• Record daily fuel and water usage; report to authorities.
