Harsco Environmental in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to work in a steel mill environment on 12-hour rotating shifts. You will perform inspections, operate loaders and other heavy equipment, and ensure safety and timely operations for a high-demand production schedule.
The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Heavy Equipment Operator License, and at least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.

This position is responsible for operating off road type heavy, mobile equipment (such as Loader, Material Handler, Lugger Truck, Hot Work Operator, Water Truck. May also be required to operate MRP and screening equipment. All work performed in a steel mill environment and will be worked as 12 hour rotating shifts. Duties include but not limited to:
Maintain high level of safety, and abid by all safe work requirements
*This position is for an anticipated opening with a training rate of $32.23 to $35.59 per hour and then an hourly rate of $34.23 to $37.59 per hour.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, Heavy Equipment Operator License and at least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
