Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee efficient operation of a job site and coordinate office moves, vendor scheduling, and communications. You will provide administrative support, maintain FM systems, and supervise space reconfigurations to meet client policies.

The role requires a degree or certification in facilities/office services with 3–5 years’ experience, housekeeping management, and strong PC skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Certification and minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in Facilities/Office Services is preferred.
  • Housekeeping Management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic and initiative for quality and superior customer service.
  • Able to work successfully in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Readily adaptable to changing work priorities.
  • Three-year sobriety, from alcohol, drugs (legal & Illegal), and any mind-altering substance required
  • Criminal Record Check
  • 3 references
  • Proof of immunization and TB test
  • Naloxone and First Aid training

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage all aspects of internal office moves, receive and process client move requests, coordinate with and scheduled vendors, and create and distribute move communications and labels to clients, ensuring the move processes are in accordance with client’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support such as answering incoming calls, participate in Workplace Services meetings as well as respond and manage Workplace Services (WPS) emails in a timely manner.
  • Create all vinyl names for office and meeting room doors when needed.
  • Follow up and complete all Facility Service requests.
  • Update FM System as new Associates are on board and floor plans when needed as reconfigurations take place.
  • Perform pre- and post-move inventory, furniture inventory, hang move signage, and supervise movers, furniture reconfiguration and space enhancements.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.
