The YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth is seeking a Maintenance Lead at the John W. Lindsay YMCA. This part‑time role ensures safe, well‑maintained facilities and a positive experience for members and participants. Hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3:00pm–11:00pm.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage cleaning, pool area upkeep, HVAC controls, and general maintenance tasks, with WHMIS certification and 1–3 years of building maintenance experience.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you play an essential role in ensuring our YMCA members and program participants enjoy comfortable, positive experiences in our facilities. Through collaborating with the Facility Services team, the Maintenance lead is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑maintained facilities that are ready to meet the needs of all participants, employees, and the general public.
