Community Living Dufferin is seeking a reliable General Labourer and Maintenance staff to perform essential upkeep across our residential sites, ensuring residences are safe, tidy, and functional. Key tasks include unloading deliveries, basic handyman work, carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor plumbing or electrical duties as applicable, plus maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in construction or maintenance, a valid G license, a Ontario High School

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
• Valid G license and a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum Ontario High School Diploma.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 40 hours a week.

Responsabilités

• Perform general labour duties including unloading deliveries/materials from trucks and place them at the proper location on site.
• Assist with basic handyman tasks (repairs, maintenance, minor renovations)
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and minor plumbing or electrical work (as applicable)
• Ensure the workspace/property is clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and standards.
