Franklincontracting is looking for a reliable General Labourer to join our crew across residential and light-commercial job sites in the SD&G and Cornwall area. No construction experience? No problem — we'll train the right person.

We offer a clear path to increase pay and title as you gain experience on full-time, Ontario-area sites, with PPE provided and a strong safety culture at the core.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform manual labour outdoors in all seasons.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic hand tool knowledge is an asset.
• Construction site experience is an asset but not required—willingness to learn matters most.

Responsibilities

• Support daily jobsite tasks under the direction of the Lead Hand.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment properly.
• Assist tradespeople with general labour and site prep.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment properly
• Assist tradespeople with general labour and site prep
• Follow all site safety protocols and PPE requirements

Skills & Experience

• Physically able to perform manual labour outdoors, in all seasons
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Basic hand tool knowledge an asset
• Construction site experience an asset but not required — willingness to learn matters more
• Basic hand tools (tape measure, utility knife, hammer)
• PPE: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest

Compensation

• $18.00–$23.50/hour to start, based on experience
• Full-time — Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry and Cornwall, Ontario area
