Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred in Mechanical or Chemical fields.
• Pursuing P.Eng. designation.
• Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Educational background or certifications in Operations Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Willingness to work or be on call during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues; improve equipment reliability through upgrades or design modifications.
• Administer Tekmon system (PM schedules and task validation); develop and maintain SOPs, inspection checklists, and work instructions.
• Manage, stock, and organize maintenance parts and inventory.
• Conduct training for maintenance staff and stay current with industry practices.
• Provide on-call support for after-hours or weekend emergencies to ensure 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required for training and equipment procurement.
• Keep work area clean and uphold 5S standards.
• Attend production meetings and be on call during evenings/weekends as needed.
