Job summary
Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Millwright in Vaughan to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, overhaul and install new equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operation. The role requires a 433A Millwright certificate and willingness to work weekends/overtime.
You will read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and collaborate with other trades to complete projects.
Qualifications
- Must hold 433A Millwright certificate.
- PLC programming experience is an asset.
- Prior diagnostic / troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and provide preventive and corrective maintenance to production lines and facilitate changeovers.
- Overhaul and install new equipment.
- Perform facility maintenance and keep work area clean and safe.
- Ensure PMs are completed on time and recorded.
- Maintain inventory by generating parts requests and completing work orders.
- Read blueprints and schematics; operate grinding, milling, lathe tools as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and use MS Office and CMMS.
