Salary:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. Union role with starting rate at $35.31 per hour.

Your Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Electrician will be required to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all aspects of the Site's equipment including but not limited to the following:


• Follow all required safety procedures including LOTO, confined space entry, elevated work practices, etc.


• Schedule and perform all preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and documentation per corporate policy on operating equipment, utilities systems, etc.


• Responsible for environmental compliance in managing any maintenance related wastes.


• Maintain records such as daily check lists, inspections on specific frequencies, etc.


• Maintains repair shop/vehicles in a clean, safe, and secure manner. Ensures all materials are kept and stored in a suitable location and ensures all safety precautions are met.


• Daily maintenance needs that might include mechanical, pipefitting, concrete, welding, fabricating, working on blending, filling, or utilities equipment, and more.


• This position will require a certification to allow electrical maintenance on voltages including 480V. West Virginia jour-neyman will be required.


• Position also requires several physical movements including lifting, pinching, bending, reaching, climbing, and manipulating and handling objects.


• Ability to work on computer and learn maintenance work order software

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High school education or equivalent required


• Craft certification from NCCER or vo-tech school, etc. in any of the following, pipefitting, steam fitting, electrical, machinist, mechanic is a plus


• Journeyman's certification from a trade union is required.


• 5+ years maintenance experience in a plant environment.


• Demonstrated ability and experience to do the following tasks, or willing to learn and master them: mechanical, pipefitting, boiler operation, machining, welding, mechanic, basic instrumentation, electrical, equipment troubleshooting.


• Must be able to lift minimum of 75 lbs, work on your feet for up to 8 hours


• Must be able to climb stairs, work in confined spaces, work at elevated heights.


• Show willingness and ability to learn and perform new skills and tasks such as:
  
  
  
  • Perform associated tasks with processes and equipment (i.e., hazardous energy isolation and LOTO, basic project skills such as equipment layout, pre-commissioning, startup, etc.)
  
  
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment
  
  
  • Ability to demonstrate focus on root cause identification and elimination
  
  
  
  


• Ability to work well with others on a task, team-oriented - cooperative and collaborative


• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.


• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays if necessary. Work for long periods. Must be flexible.


• Able to drive fork trucks, scissors lift, JLG on occasion and work at elevated level or under piping/equipment.


• Computer experience a plus
