Salary

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience. The range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure timely and proactive maintenance activities.
  • Implement systems to monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and schedule preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with external service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, predict potential failures, and optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of existing manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance overall operational capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and synergy in process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Safety and 6S activities.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Progressive approach to maintenance and process improvement driven.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards.
  • Understanding of Operational Excellence, an asset.
  • Lead Safety, 6S and sustainability activities.
