Job summary

Apple Self Storage in Canada’s Fredericton area is seeking a Maintenance Person to support two locations (North and South sides). You’ll perform upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks, ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and efficient.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and strong communication with site teams. A reliable, proactive problem-solver with attention to detail is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with employee benefits and RRSP opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, or similar work.
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, ladders, outdoor work).
• Weekday work with some weekend or after-hours flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways.
• Handle general facility maintenance tasks: doors, light bulbs, locks; keep exterior tidy and accessible.
• Identify safety and security issues and report hazards to Site Manager.

This position is supporting two locations. (North and South side)

As a Maintenance Person, you help ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You’ll support our site teams by performing essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks that help maintain the professional appearance and function of our properties.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Cleanliness – Ensure offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways are clean, sanitized, and presentable.
• General Facility Maintenance Tasks -Tackle small repairs like fixing doors, replacing light bulbs, and lubricating locks. Keep the outside of the facility property looking tidy and accessible to customers.
• Identify Safety & Security Issues – Report any hazards or facility issues to the Site Manager. Stay alert to any unusual activity after hours and report concerns accordingly.
• Support Site Teams – Work alongside Site staff to prioritize daily and seasonal maintenance tasks.
