• 10+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, PL/I, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and z/OS.
• Strong expertise in Mainframe Modernization across assessment, rehosting, replatforming, refactoring and legacy transformation.
• Experience modernizing monolithic applications into API-enabled, microservices-based, cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise modernization initiatives and set modernization roadmaps.
• Mentor technical teams and collaborate with business stakeholders and architects.
• Drive integration of mainframe capabilities with REST APIs, microservices and cloud platforms.

Job description

• 10+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, PL/I, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and z/OS.
• Strong expertise in Mainframe Modernization, including application assessment, rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and legacy transformation.
• Experience modernizing monolithic applications into API-enabled, microservices-based, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and integration with Azure/AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and automation practices.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, and messaging technologies such as IBM MQ, Kafka, and API Connect.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise modernization initiatives, mentor technical teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders and architects.
• Strong background in Banking/Financial Services, enterprise architecture, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and modernization roadmap planning.
