Job summary

Forma Steel is seeking a Machine Operator for our Fort Macleod, AB facility. This full-time role offers day and afternoon shifts (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

and 2:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m., Monday–Friday/Thursday) with opportunities for cross training and advancement. You will operate steel manufacturing equipment, assist with setup and shutdown, and ensure safe, accurate production while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment is required.
• Ability to read production drawings and follow directions.
• Basic math skills and ability to communicate in English.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate various steel manufacturing equipment such as folder, shear, and slitter.
• Guide steel into processing areas and ensure proper alignment.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently, with attention to start-up, cleaning, and shutdown procedures.
• Lift and move products throughout the assembly and production process.
• Complete any other work assigned by supervisor or lead hand while following health and safety practices.

We are currently lookingto hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

Role: MachineOperator (day shift and afternoon shift positions available)

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m Monday-Friday (day shift)

2:00p.m. - 12:30a.m. Monday-Thursday (afternoon shift)

As a Machine Operator You Will:

• Operate various steelmanufacturing equipment such as folder, shear, slitter.
