Job summary

Advantage Personnel in Scarborough, Ontario is hiring a Machine Operator / Shop Helper for a sheet metal manufacturing shop. You will assist with machine operation, material handling, paint prep, and general shop tasks as part of a busy production team.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong manual dexterity and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Shifts are Mon-Thurs 7:00 am–4:00 pm and Fri 7:00 am–1:00 pm, with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines and presses in a metal shop.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Near Kennedy & Finch)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines and presses within a metal manufacturing setting.
• Assist with different tasks across the shop.
• Working in the spray booth (prep and spraying).
• Organize and manage inventory.
• Perform additional tasks, including paint prep duties, as assigned.
• Regularly engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
