Forma Steel in Fort Macleod, AB is hiring a Machine Operator for day and afternoon shifts. You will operate folder, shear, and slitter equipment, feed materials, and ensure safe, efficient production processes on the shop floor.

The role requires reading production drawings, basic math, and clear English communication. Candidates should be team-oriented, reliable, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing environment.

Forma Steel createssteel roofing, siding, trim & custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors,and finishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB,just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently lookingto hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

Role:MachineOperator (day shift and afternoon shift positions available)

Job Type: Full-time

Shift:6:00a.m.-2:30p.m Monday-Friday (day shift)

2:00p.m. - 12:30a.m. Monday-Thursday (afternoon shift)

As a Machine OperatorYou Will:

• Operate various steelmanufacturing equipment such as folder, shear, slitter.
• Guide steel into the processing areas.
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficientmanner.
• Perform start up,cleaning, and shut down procedures on production equipment.
• Lift and move products throughout the assemblyand production process.
• Complete any other work assigned bysupervisor/lead hand.
• Abide with all Health and safety practices andrequirements.

Our Machine OperatorsHave:

• Ability to and/or experience operatingmanufacturing equipment.
• Safe work mindset and commitment to safety.
• Ability to read and understand productiondrawings.
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write,and verbally communicate in English.
