Forma Steel, located near Fort Macleod, AB, is hiring a Machine Operator - Trim Area (Afternoon Shift) for full-time work. The role involves operating folder, shear, and slitter machinery, guiding steel through processing zones, and maintaining safe, efficient operations on the production floor.

The ideal candidate will read production drawings, perform basic math, communicate in English, and contribute to a teamwork-oriented environment with cross-training and advancement opportunities.

We are currently lookingto hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

Role:MachineOperator - Trim Area (Afternoon Shift)

Job Type: Full-time

Shift:2:00p.m. - 12:30a.m. Monday-Thursday

As a Machine OperatorYou Will:

• Operate various steelmanufacturing equipment such as folder, shear, slitter.
• Guide steel into the processing areas.
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficientmanner.
• Perform start up,cleaning, and shut down procedures on production equipment.
• Lift and move products throughout the assemblyand production process.
• Complete any other work assigned bysupervisor/lead hand.
• Abide with all Health and safety practices andrequirements.

Our Machine OperatorsHave:

• Ability to and/or experience operatingmanufacturing equipment.
• Safe work mindset and commitment to safety.
• Ability to read and understand productiondrawings.
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write,and verbally communicate in English.
• Team mentality and ability to work well withothers.
• Physical capability to perform their job safely(push, pull lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time).
• Capability of working in a manufacturingenvironment.
