Forma Steel is hiring a Machine Operator - Trim Area for the afternoon shift (2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., Monday–Thursday) at our facility in Fort Macleod, AB, near Lethbridge. You will operate folder, shear and slitter equipment, load and guide steel, and ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Able to read production drawings.
• Basic math skills.
• Good English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate various steel manufacturing equipment such as folder, shear, slitter.
• Guide steel into the processing areas.
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform start up, cleaning, and shutdown procedures on production equipment.
• Lift and move products throughout the assembly and production process.
• Complete any other work assigned by supervisor/lead hand.
• Abide with all Health and safety practices and requirements.

As a Machine OperatorYou Will:
