Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is hiring a Full-Time, permanent Machine Operator at our Milton, Ontario location. The role offers a starting salary of $19/hour with a 5-day schedule Sunday to Friday, 7:00am start, including weekends and a changing day off.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate completion of documentation when required.
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures.
• Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally.
• Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
• Able to identify and retrieve products for processing.
• Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume).
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks.

A Day in the Life of a Machine Operator @ Fresh Start Foods
