Job summary

Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to join our Milton, Ontario team. You will operate a 5 Tonne truck on a scheduled route, load and unload items, and uphold safety and customer service standards from start to finish.

The role requires an Ontario G license with a clean CVOR, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to start at 5:00 AM. Full-time hours Monday through Saturday with Sunday off. Benefits include health coverage and RRSP participation.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience with 5 Tonne trucks.
• Valid Ontario G license with clean CVOR.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must start at 5:00 AM and work until route completed.
• Monday–Saturday schedule with Sunday off.

Responsibilities

• Route Delivery: Safely operate a 5 Tonne Truck to deliver fresh produce to various foodservice customers on a scheduled route.
• Loading & Unloading: Manually offload products at customer sites, ensuring orders are accurate and handled with care.
• Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Customer Service: Act as the face of the company, providing professional service during all client interactions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork (invoices, signatures) is completed correctly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety laws and company protocols to maintain a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract.

Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring two (2) full time Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Milton, Ontario. We are a leader in foodservice distribution, dedicated to delivering the freshest produce to our customers.

Work Days

Monday – Saturday (Sunday and one weekday off).

Shift

Starts at 5:00 AM until the route is finished.

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Driving Experience: Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, specifically operating 5 Tonne trucks or similar heavy vehicles, is highly preferred.
• Licensing: Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G or higher) with a Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract.
• Physical Stamina: Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Reliability: Must be dependable for a 5:00 AM start time and willing to work until the route is finished.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a Monday to Saturday schedule (with Sunday and one other day off).
