Job summary

Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. in Milton, Ontario is seeking a Full Time, Permanent Machine Operator. Salary is $19/h with a 5-day week (Sunday to Friday) and a rotating day off.

Start time is 7:00am, located in Milton with benefits including health care, RRSP matching, employee purchase program, and safety first culture. Ideal candidates have prior food manufacturing experience, can work weekends and holidays, and are able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility.
• Able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Flexibility to work in production areas where needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally.
• Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
• Identify and retrieve products for processing.
• Read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume).
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems and safety checks.
