Job summary

Tesla in Richmond Hill, Ontario is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer, NVH to develop diagnostic models, maintain data pipelines, and deploy ML solutions from lab to production across vehicles and related technologies.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and vehicle engineering teams to apply ML, audio processing and deep learning to detect issues early, optimize tests, and improve overall product quality at scale while contributing to cutting-edge hardware and software

Qualifications

  • Degree in CS/CE/EE or data science or equivalent work background.
  • Proficient in Python and C++.
  • Strong software engineering practices including version control, testing and code review.
  • Strong knowledge of ML fundamentals including neural networks, optimization methods, regularization and model evaluation.
  • Experience with neural network architectures for audio applications (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy machine learning models and audio algorithms for NVH diagnostics.
  • Build and maintain machine learning pipelines from data collection through production deployment.
  • Work with manufacturing, quality audit and vehicle engineering teams to integrate diagnostic systems.

  • Work background with neural network architectures for audio applications including CNNs, RNNs and Transformers is required.
  • Strong knowledge of event detection and of classification models.
  • Skilled in PyTorch or another major deep learning tool such as TensorFlow.
  • Can work with machine learning systems from development through deployment in production environments.
