Fairmont Royal York in Toronto is hiring a Laundry Utility to ensure clean, stain-free linens for guests and staff. You will support multiple departments, operate laundry equipment, and adhere to high brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience is desirable but not required.
• Able to communicate in English, both oral and written.
• Secondary schooling desirable but not required.
• Basic cleaning knowledge is desired but not required.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and complete projects on time.
• Professional manner and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and stain-free linens across departments.
• Provide welcoming, friendly service to guests and colleagues.
• Follow ALL Safe and brand cleaning standards.
• Operate laundry machines safely (irons, dryers, folding equipment).
• Sort, stock, and organize linen carts per standard.
• Report equipment malfunctions to laundry supervisor.
• Work weekends, holidays, and shifts as scheduled.
