Wentworth Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support the Engineering department and ensure guest comfort and safety at our Vancouver hotels. You will handle preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and coordination with vendors while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, this role requires strong communication, organization, and flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced hotel environment. Weekend availability may be required.

Formación

• Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Organized and able to problem-solve under pressure.
• Willingness to support other departments when needed.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Able to lift up to 23 kg.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as an ambassador of the hotel when addressing guest concerns.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations including plumbing, fixtures, doors and windows.
• Maintain HVAC units, air units, and filter changes.
• Communicate with external vendors for projects and repairs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
• Address guest maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain interior and exterior upkeep, including painting and decorating.
• Lead with a safety-first approach and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure exterior grounds safety and seasonal tasks (snow removal, weed control).
• Handle emergencies or maintenance requests flexibly; perform other duties as needed.
