Job summary

Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver is seeking a maintenance technician to service guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will perform routine inspections, minor repairs, and assist guests with equipment as needed.

We value safety, teamwork, and proactive problem solving; the role supports sustainability programs and operates across shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Wage starts at CAD 36.71/hour after 90 days of service.

Qualifications

• Canadian work authorization.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in guestrooms, public areas and back of house.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Assist guests with hotel equipment (TVs, etc.) and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in environmental and sustainability initiatives.
