Job summary

RONA affiliated dealer locations across Canada are looking for a dedicated lumberyard team member. You will provide expert advice to customers, assist with loading, and help ensure invoices match the products delivered while keeping the yard organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to assist customers with building material needs.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a physical role.
• Experience with loading products and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
