Job summary

RONA in Beloeil, Quebec is seeking a yard team member to provide expert customer advice on lumber and building materials, assist with loading and stock maintenance, and help keep the department safe and organized. You will check invoices and support daily operations to ensure a smooth store flow.

The role emphasizes physical work, safety, and teamwork in a busy lumberyard environment, with duties covering opening/closing and general duties across the yard.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
