• The candidate will be expected to change oil, air, and fuel filters in automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• The candidate must be able to repair and balance tyres.
• The candidate must be able to provide on‑site services.
• The candidate must change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for applying lubricants to moving parts of vehicle engines in order to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
• The candidate will be responsible for lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tyre wear.
• The candidate will be required to perform engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• The candidate will be required to perform tyre rotations to ensure even tyre wear.
• The candidate will be required to test tyre pressure and add air as needed.
• The candidate will be required to thoroughly inspect the vehicles of customers for oil leaks.
• The candidate will be required to notify the supervisor of any machine defects or malfunctions.
• The candidate must document all work performed on the repair order.
• The candidate will be expected to respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• When vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within the timeframes specified, the candidate will be required to notify the Service Advisor.
• Based on initial vehicle inspections, the candidate will be required to make recommendations for additional servicing.
