Job summary

Qualicare Home Care is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurses to deliver direct skilled client care at home under supervision. You will follow care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with the care team to achieve positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, ongoing assessments, medication administration with proper recording, and adherence to infection control standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of competence and good standing is required.
• Certified in CPR and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong clinical skills and patient-care experience.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision and manage responsibilities.
• Good customer service and interaction with clients and families.
• TB test or chest X-ray clearance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct skilled client care under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans and document actions accurately and timely.
• Perform assessments and adjust care as needed.
• Administer medications and document actions taken.
• Perform nursing procedures per provincial scope of practice.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions.
