Pro Vita Care Management is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Agassiz Seniors Community in Agassiz, BC. The role involves observing residents, providing personal care, and supporting infection control and schedule coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assess health status including differentiating normal vs abnormal findings and dementia vs delirium.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,

• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
  • Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
  • Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
