Job summary

Marigold Gardens in Burnaby is seeking an LPN to join Pro Vita Care Management. Location: 7197 Canada Way, Burnaby BC V5E 4A6. Salary: $32.84 - $41.35 per hour. You will care for residents and work with a supportive team.

Available positions include Temporary Full-time: 4 on 2 off 0700-1500 (Temporary until March 2027) and Permanent Full-time: 4 on 2 off 2300-0700. Comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
• First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe, monitor, and document residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provide and assist with personal care as required.
• Support emergency staff scheduling and respond to needs.
• Ensure adherence to infection control practices.
• Assess health status and differentiate normal vs abnormal findings.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
  • Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
  • Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
