Job summary

Pro Vita Care Management is recruiting an LPN for Glenwood Care Center in Agassiz (Assisted Living & Long Term Care). Earn $32.84–$41.35 per hour plus a working bonus. Casual 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm) with a supportive team and opportunities for career growth.

We seek dedicated LPNs, with Practical Nursing credentials, active BCCNM registration, and OFA Level 1. COVID-19 vaccination is preferred, with strong English communication skills essential for resident care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Practical Nursing credential and active LPN registration with BCCNM.
• OFA Level 1 certification is required or preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provide and assist with personal care as required.
• Support with emergency staff scheduling and infection control practices.
• Assess health status, differentiate normal findings from abnormalities, and monitor mental health status.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
  • Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
  • Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
