Pro Vita Care Management is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Vancouver for casual, flexible shifts. You will observe residents, document health status, and assist with personal care while supporting infection control and emergency staffing.

The role requires active LPN registration with BCCNM, a recognized Practical Nursing program, and COVID-19 vaccination. English communication is essential, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Observe, monitor, and document residents' physical and psychological conditions.
Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required.
Support emergency staffing and scheduling.
Ensure infection control practices are followed.
Assess health status and differentiate between normal and abnormal findings, including dementia vs delirium.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
- Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
- Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
