Job summary

UNIQLO Canada Inc. in Richmond Centre is seeking a dedicated full-time Loss Prevention Associate to protect assets and ensure customer and staff safety.

You will implement initiatives with Store Management, train personnel on LP policies, detect shoplifters, and coordinate investigations across the location. The role requires 2+ years in loss prevention, knowledge of Canadian laws, a provincial license, RFID experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi-unit capacity.
• Full understanding of Canadian federal, provincial and local laws and regulations regarding apprehensions and safety.
• Provincial license required.
• Experience in internal investigations and use of exception reporting systems.
• Experience interfacing with law enforcement and legal professionals on criminal and civil matters.
• Experience with LP technology including CCTV, EAS, Access Control and related systems.
• Familiarity with RFID technology.
• Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both in teams and autonomously.
• Proficiency with MS Office and G-Suite.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute Loss Prevention initiatives within the location with Store Management and Area LP Manager.
• Assist with training store personnel on LP policies and initiatives.
• Detect shoplifters and safely apprehend subjects; track investigations and incidents.
• Implement loss reduction initiatives and report progress to LP leadership.
• Utilize LP technology (CCTV, Access Control, EAS) to identify and address issues.
• Provide RFID inventory training and resolve operational issues with LP team.
• Assist with RFID cycle counts and financial inventory as directed.
• Communicate with LP team and cross-departmentally to identify issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
