Job summary

UNIQLO Canada in Richmond, BC, is hiring a Full Time Loss Prevention Associate for our Richmond Centre store. You will implement LP initiatives, train staff, and work with Area LP and Store Management to protect assets and ensure safety.

The role requires 2+ years in LP, provincial licensing, and strong investigation skills. You will use CCTV, EAS, RFID, and Access Control to identify issues, conduct internal/external investigations, and support RFID inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi-unit setting.
• Knowledge of Canadian federal, provincial and local laws regarding apprehensions and safety.
• Provincially licensed is a required qualification.
• Experience with internal investigations and exception reporting systems.
• Ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals.
• Experience with LP technology including CCTV, EAS and Access Control.
• Familiarity with RFID technology is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to stand/walk for full shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regular travel within assigned location(s) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Implement LP initiatives at the store in collaboration with Store Management and Area LP Manager.
• Train store personnel on Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Detect shoplifters and conduct safe apprehensions in accordance with laws and policy.
• Identify and investigate internal theft and policy violations; track incidents.
• Use LP technology to identify loss and safety issues and report progress.
• Provide RFID training and contribute to RFID-based cycle counts.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
