Job summary

UNIQLO Canada is hiring for a Full Time Loss Prevention Associate at the Square One location in Mississauga. The role partners with Store Management and Area LP Manager to protect assets and ensure safety for customers and employees.

Responsibilities include implementing LP initiatives, training store personnel, identifying shoplifters, and supporting investigations. Proficiency with CCTV, EAS, RFID, and related systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi‑unit setting.
• Understanding of Canadian laws and regulations about apprehensions and safety.
• Provincial licensing is a requirement for this role.
• Experience with internal investigations and exception reporting systems.
• Proven ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals on criminal and civil matters.
• Experience with Loss Prevention technology including CCTV, EAS, Access Control, RFID.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute Loss Prevention initiatives and policies.
• Assist managers with training on Loss Prevention policies and initiatives.
• Detect and apprehend shoplifters and assist with investigations of internal theft.
• Track investigations in the department’s case management system.
• Work with store teams to implement loss reduction initiatives.
• Utilize LP technology and RFID systems and provide training.
